How works and to get started

To get started –provide us with the supporting documents – see below and pay our administration fee for the R2B Finance analysis:

  • Complete the attached Rental Guarantee application form.
  • This to analyze your rental amount that you can pay, to determine your R2B Finance purchase price. We will convert the rental amount into a purchase price and provide you with the full breakdown.
  • You then sign an offer to purchase – and make it subject to a bond approval – within 21 working days from signature.
  • Once signed, you send the offer to us.
  • We step in and then take over the purchase and sign a new deed of sale with the seller and the R2B Finance company – Sentinel.
  • You then sign a 2 year R2B/Instalment Sale agreement with Sentinel and this agreement can even be extended longer – into an instalment sale agreement – if you then cannot get a home loan approved within the 2 year period. Terms and conditions apply.
  • You need to have a 6-7 % deposit to put down and your credit rating must be in a reasonable good status.

The price range is between R400 000 – R1.8 mil in regards to the criteria and for approved areas by the Rent 2 Buy finance company in the Cape Peninsula and Gauteng.

  • Attached completed application form
  • Copy of ID
  • Latest 3 month’s salary slips
  • Latest 3 month’s Bank statements
  • Latest IRP5 form
  • Proof of payment of R 750 / R850
